Our Story

Where It All Began

Drawing from his successful background as a leading National Account Representative, Alan Britz, President of Britz Food Group, challenged himself to find a better way to approach sales and development in the specialty food industry. Focusing on building brands by identifying trends, launching products, and creating a culinary revolution, he specializes in representing specialty food manufacturers who want to expand their own salesforce, especially in the National Accounts field.

In the spring of 2020, Alan set out to execute the Britz Food Group, promoting it as a new approach to food sales. The “new normal” took on a whole new look as Covid-19 prevented travel and the promotion of specialty food products. He embraced these limitations with an innovative approach by creating a platform for his “Virtual Happy Hours” along with live cooking demonstrations with industry-leading chefs from across the country.

  • Spent 6 years with Ken’s Dressings handling chains Nationally and helping them grow to a $1 billion company

  • Almost 10 years in Corporate Executive Chef roll at Ken’s Foods. Defining the roll for the organization. Sales growth from $440 million to $1 Billion

Greg Barr, Senior National Accounts Executive
