Where It All Began

OUR STORY

Drawing from his successful background as a leading National Account Representative, Alan Britz, President of Britz Food Group, challenged himself to find a better way to approach sales and development in the specialty food industry. Focusing on building brands by identifying trends, launching products, and creating a culinary revolution, he specializes in representing specialty food manufacturers who want to expand their own salesforce, especially in the National Accounts field.

In the spring of 2020, Alan set out to execute the Britz Food Group, promoting it as a new approach to food sales. The “new normal” took on a whole new look as Covid-19 prevented travel and the promotion of specialty food products. He embraced these limitations with an innovative approach by creating a platform for his “Virtual Happy Hours” along with live cooking demonstrations with industry-leading chefs from across the country.

Chris Murphy

VP Culinary Innovation

  • He has spent his 20-year career being an extension of the brand innovators across the top 400 Chains, prides himself on being the first call for white pages through bench development, commercialization. Driving menu innovation through collaboration.
  • Built the Culinary and R&D team at Carla’s Pasta from the ground up, driving company sales from $40 million to its height $120 million in 6 short years
  • Almost 10 years in Corporate Executive Chef roll at Ken’s Foods. Defining the role for the organization. Sales growth from $440 million to $1 Billion
  • Culinary Degree from Johnson and Wales Providence Rhode Island
  • Numerous Vendor of the Year Awards and Nominations

Hildie Rubinoff

VP National Accounts

  • 24 years experience as a National Account Executive
  • Has sold directly to vast majority of NRN Top 400 Accounts in Canada and the US including cruise lines, airlines and OCS/Vend
  • In-depth knowledge of import/export
  • Initiated broker and distributor marketing programs
  • Certified Women Business Enterprise Canada, Women in Foodservice, CORE Ambassador
  • Key culinary, research and development, marketing, purchasing relationships with many of the NRN TOP 400 Accounts

Ashley Biel

Director Project Management

  • 12 years experience in National Chain Accounts
  • Managed Projects for the National Account team as they drove company sales from $40 million to its height $120 million in 6 short years
  • Oversaw projects for the Foodservice, Retail and National Account Arenas by planning, monitoring and launching products with major accounts
  • Liaison between vendors and customers to ensure smooth and timely flow of information for continued success and growth for both parties
  • Develop marketing pieces and programs with vendors to ensure their on-trend flavors are known within the industry
  • Extensive experience working with many of the NRN TOP 400 Accounts
 

Tara Headd

Senior Account Executive

  • Over 20 years experience as a National Account Manager who has built impactful relationships in top chain accounts
  • Experience representing the #1 and # 2 branded products as well as custom formulas for multiple categories
  • Past member of Women in Foodservice, Research Chef’s Association and board member of Second Helpings Atlanta
  • Creative minded- finding opportunities for many of the top 200 chains by solutions selling. Helping to find new menu items from ideation through commercialization
  • Strong understanding of scale-up operations and functional ingredients
  • Consulted with top chains to make formulas compliant to meet country codes, globalization and standards
  • Passionate about the food industry and feeding the world
